Founder & Principal Attorney
I didn't learn this industry from a textbook.
I coded, toured internationally, and built companies – then went to law school to become the lawyer creators and founders actually need.

Before the courtroom, there was the stage. Aghil Ebrahimi spent his formative years in Montreal — studying computer science and developing a technical mindset that most lawyers simply don't have. But it was music that took him further. As a touring artist, he performed across more than 30 countries, played some of the world's most prestigious venues, and built a global audience of over 500,000 followers from the ground up.
Along the way, he co-founded Sousa Media — a media and events company — which gave him a front-row seat to how the creative industry actually operates. The contracts, the negotiations, the deals, and the places where artists and founders consistently got left behind. He didn't just observe these gaps. He experienced them firsthand.
That experience drove him to law school. He earned both his LL.B. and J.D. at the University of Montreal, and emerged licensed in three jurisdictions: California, Quebec, and Ontario. Three bars. Three legal systems. One deliberate strategy — to serve creators, founders, and technology companies wherever they build.
StarGuard Law is the firm Aghil couldn't find when he needed it. A lawyer who already understands the creative economy, the technology stack, and the business model before the first conversation. Who speaks the language of the client — in English, French, and Farsi. And who approaches every engagement as both a legal matter and a business decision.
